CWC Law is an independent legal-information publication. It explains common contract and civil-dispute topics — the kind of questions consumers and small businesses run into — in plain language, and points readers to the primary sources behind each explanation.
It is not a law firm, and it does not provide legal advice or representation. Reading a guide here does not create a lawyer–client relationship. For advice about a specific situation, consult a lawyer licensed in the relevant jurisdiction.

CWC Law is a working publication name. It is not the former Cooper, White & Cooper LLP, and it claims no connection to, succession from, or endorsement by that firm or its former lawyers.
How the guides are written
Each guide is written to be practical and accurate, cites the primary and educational sources it relies on, and labels statements that are specific to a single state. Where a rule differs by jurisdiction, the guide says so rather than implying one national answer.
This is a focused first collection, not a complete account of the law. Guides are not described as attorney-reviewed unless a named reviewer is actually credited on the page.
